Ms. Dr. Kemnitz looked after us very well and in emergencies Dr. Sydow spontaneously stepped in.

I would like to improve one point: if it’s unsuccessful, a consultation with a doctor is highly recommended, because at that moment a couple is going through a lot of emotions and may need support.

I had a meeting with a different doctor each time. They didn’t give me comprehensive advice, so I got an IUI even though my fallopian tubes were blocked. Then I decided on IVF, with 14 eggs and only one embryo (I’m 28). I was pregnant but……miscarried…just disappointed with what happened!

Based on my experience at the beginning of 2024, I cannot recommend the clinic at all, my experiences only relate to the clinic’s managing director and specialist Dr. Sydow. On my second visit to the clinic he explained to me that my AMH level was very bad and that the chance of getting pregnant was very, very low. So far so medical – BUT: he decorated these statements with complete coldness and traumatizing sayings that you are not allowed to write due to Google guidelines.
I, 35 years old, healthy and without the slightest idea that anything was wrong, was there alone and in tears. At the end he asked me to bring a glass of water back into the waiting room even though I just wanted to get out and when I asked him if I could please have the printed blood results, he said I could print them out at the front counter. No nice words, no would-be nothing. So empathy is 0 and that is really unacceptable in this area. I hope Dr. Sydow reads this and soon attends further training in communications.

My doctor, Dr. Kemnitz was very nice and I felt very well looked after by the nurses in the laboratory, which is why I am very sorry to write a negative review. When I asked several times, my doctor couldn’t fully explain the statistics on fertility and didn’t know the cooling properties of the medications she prescribed and probably uses every day. Regarding the latter, there was a lot of back and forth until we finally clarified whether I had to throw away medication and buy new ones or not. This made me feel like she wasn’t familiar with important aspects of her job and I no longer felt safe, but I was so stressed that I didn’t dare ask for a new doctor. By the end I was slightly overstimulated and had produced a lot of eggs. When I woke up after the retrieval, she greeted me straight away and told me that “disappointingly” we were only able to retrieve 15 eggs, whereupon I started crying because of the anesthesia I had just received and the general nervousness about the treatment. She then said to me that we could do another round after a little time has passed, which is currently completely irrelevant to my financial reality and which I had also communicated in advance. All in all, I have negative memories of the entire experience and would like to reframe it now because I still have 15 eggs to be happy about.

Dear practice team, me and my husband are incredibly grateful to all of you, each and every one of you.
All the doctors and all the nurses convey hope and anticipation. They explain so well that even I had no problem understanding what is being done and why.
Now we’ve done it and I’m carrying our little gummy bear under my heart.
I can really recommend this practice with a clear conscience.

I am so grateful to the MVZ Kinderwunsch team for what is so far a successful and healthy pregnancy, after many years of trying and a very negative experience at another fertility clinic in Berlin.

Dr. Böttge is the perfect mix between kind, positive and very effective and efficient. She explains everything very clearly, even in English, and she is clearly an expert in her field. She gave me hope when I didn’t really have much, and we even managed to get pregnant after our first IVF try.

The rest of the team is equally nice and attentive, and the whole procedure was really positive and stress-free, despite being a very emotional time for couples.

I also really loved their flexibility, also offering online consultations when my partner and I could not make the trip into the city center.

The facilities are great, their technology is very advanced, and I will definitely come back to the clinic should we go for siblings!

My husband and I experienced our fertility treatment at the MVZ on Gendarmenmarkt and would like to share our consistently positive experience.

After our return to Germany, we looked for a clinic that could quickly and easily continue the treatment we had started abroad. The first phone call was very encouraging and the assurance that our foreign documents would be accepted was a great relief for us.

Our warmest thanks go to Dr. Böttge, who had taken the trouble to understand our documents written in Hebrew before our first conversation, which was certainly not easy. We immediately felt like we were in good hands with her and her empathetic and professional manner enabled us to start our IVF treatment without delays, which was very important to us.

The entire team at MVZ – from the nurses and receptionists to the doctors and laboratory staff – was incredibly approachable and patient with us. All of our questions were always answered with a warmth that made us feel really taken care of.

The continuous support from Dr. Böttge ensured clear communication throughout and a very personal treatment experience. The consultation was fluent in English, which was a great help to my husband.

When I got pregnant on the first attempt, we were overjoyed, even though we later had a difficult time with a moderate miscarriage. In this emotionally very stressful phase, the quick and sensitive call back from Dr. Böttge is an invaluable support for us.

We are optimistic about the future and hope to be able to continue our treatment soon. At the MVZ am Gendarmenmarkt we still feel that we not only receive excellent medical care, but also that we are in good human hands, which is of great value for this emotional treatment.

I also recommend this center, it helped me to have my first child, I gave birth a week ago to a perfectly healthy and beautiful child, thanks to the doctors in this center, may God give strength and patience to help any family with problems of bringing a child to world.

I was with Dr. Bartley in treatment and give the entire MVZ five stars because of her competence, her appreciative communication and her empathy, because I can recommend Dr. Recommend Bartley without reservation. Although there were unpleasant situations with a few other MVZ employees, these completely fade into the background when you subsequently meet a doctor like Dr. Bartley. Therefore full marks and thank you very much!
