I had the most wonderful experience at every stage at TFP.

Our consultant Dr Hauzman was kind, compassionate but also realistic with our expectations. He really helped us to navigate a range of complex situations, answered our questions and simplified very advanced medicine in an easy to understand way, which was very helpful given our lack of medical degree! The nurses were absolutely wonderful and I had positive experiences with the embryology team too, despite some tricky circumstances.

Everyone from the sales team to the receptionist, to the midwifery teams were so delightful, and couldn’t have cared more about us, checking in on their holidays and checking in on our scans!

TFP Boston place were incredible, and I’d recommend them to anyone.

Choosing the right clinic for us was essential, and we are beyond relieved and happy that we chose Boston Place. Very welcoming and informative

I highly recommend TFP to anyone thinking of freezing their eggs. I have just completed two cycles with TFP and have received quality service. The clinical team are very reassuring, kind and professional. They provide detailed information on every step of your journey. When I set up to look for a fertility clinic, I found it overwhelming as there is so much to choose from, but my friend recommended TFP, and I am thrilled with the choice I made. Thank you, TFP, for helping guide me through this fertility journey. I am very grateful for the support and kindness you provided me.

Stay away from this clinic. I am really not sure where to start. We did multiple rounds of IVF with Boston Place and the number of mistakes is astonishing. From the machine turning off mid transfer to 2 our frozen embryos from another clinic being transferred when it was contraindicated as I had liquid in the lining of my womb. No bloods were taken over the course of 2 years. What’s even more concerning is the lies and twisting of the chain of events when I escalated through their complaints policy. I have escalated this clinic to the HFEA for investigation. This clinic might have been personal a number of years back but with the change in management, and high staff turnover there seems to be a lack of qualified staff and embryologists constantly in training.

I had been waiting a long time for test results to arrive. When they did it was a piece of paper that for most people wouldn’t mean/explain anything. I asked what it meant and have been waiting for over two months for an explication. I called to give a reminder, I was assured someone call me back, and again nothing.. For the amount they charge it is a really poor service. My wife and I are leaving the clinic in search of better options and are requesting a refund. If you are considering using here, I would look elsewhere to assure you also don’t have a negative experience

Amazing people. Very professional.

I unfortunately have done 5 cycles of egg collection in 4 different IVF clinics (Guys hospital, ABC clinic, Boston Place and CRGH Portland) and Boston Place medical team have been the best clinic I experienced (their Finance team wasn’t very professional which I will explain later).

Overall most of the medical teams including consultants and nurses are very professional, compassionate and caring (not all, which I will explain later) and all the scans are carried out by consultants so they get a first hand view of how you are progressing (in most clinics scans are carried out by nurses), and the time waiting for scans have been minimum – usually perfectly on time, worst I had was 30mins but in other clinics 30mins – 60mins would be standard) , so you don’t waste so much time in waiting. This is important because I (and a lot of other women undergo treatments) have a full time job and less time wasted in clinic is beneficial

Medical Team
Dr Erik Hauzman was my consultant, he was professional, thorough and compassionate; he would call me to go through medical test results and answer my questions in detail after I have reviewed research papers, this doesn’t happen in other clinics where the time with consultants was very minimum and mostly via their medical secretary. I didn’t end up with a live birth but I got a positive pregnancy test and heart beat which I never got in other treatments so far.

Dr Chun Ng was also very professional – I interacted with him through the follicle growth monitoring scans; he is very knowledge and straight talking

Dr Zabeena Pandian: My first consultation with her had been disappointing (I therefore switched to Dr Erik Hauzman) in that I shared my treatment history and loads of data with her prior to the call, it seemed she didn’t read any, and I had to repeat myself and waste valuable time, also I had follow up/ treatment summary sessions with her (when Dr Erik wasn’t available), even though Dr Zabeena was friendly and nice, she didn’t seem to know my treatment details well, and her summary note in comparison to Dr Erik’s seemed very loose and didn’t cover all details – it gave the impression that she didn’t really care about my case

Nurse Emily and Zoe: I couldn’t praise them enough! They are so professional, kind, understanding, thorough, compassionate and caring!!! They really listened to me when I was in need and treated me with respect and compassion at very difficult and stressful times of my life!! They are so kind even when I stopped treatment and had questions on my test report – they would still respond promptly when I emailed them! Thank you both for your amazing support! (Other nurses don’t stand out, for example, I find Sarah was just there doing her job and didn’t really have that empathy towards patients)

Finance Team
I used my company’s insurance to cover the cost, so I didn’t deal with the finance team directly that much but I did spot an error in one claim that charged more than £1,200 than it should be – as it billed for tests I inquired but didn’t do. It took at least two months to get the finance team to correct the mistake through my persistent emails. I found it was stressful time already with treatments and having to spot the error, making such effort to correct the error could have been avoided.
