The treatment was very bad. We did the first egg transfer and it failed, and we did the second transfer and it also failed, but that is not the problem here. The problem is that there is no sympathy and support for the patient at all. An example of this is when we contacted them the first time to tell them that the operation was a failure. The answer was that we must pay an amount of 23,500kr Again if we want to try again, and also during the second transfer, our appointment was at 2:00 pm, as we were in the place at 1:45 pm to change clothes, but after changing clothes, no one came to the room until 2:45 while my wife was sitting feeling cold and under Pressure, stress and when we talked to the nurses, they told us that there are a large number of patients today, but they should know better and plan ahead. Unfortunately, it was a very bad experience in which I did not feel psychological comfort with my wife at all.

Would say that there are mixed experiences from the clinic. Had to say I don’t want to go to a woman anymore because she kept nagging me about being old, even when there was no reason to bring it up. She was also very unsympathetic and said strange things when miscarrying and didn’t want to show the screen for a long time so her colleague demonstratively and harshly moved the screen so we could see. It’s not fun to meet her afterwards and see her looks.

Some are more empathetic and soft when they do the ultrasound and others are more hard-nosed and insert the rod strangely. It would also be good to receive an information sheet about everything at the beginning. For example, in the event of a delayed miscarriage, you do not get tablets from them, but from the hospital, you have to make an appointment with them, and it may take a while to get an appointment.

Then I got too few syringes printed and had to call several times because the first person said that it was certainly enough, but it turned out that there was a lot missing.

The clinic also forgot to send a letter regarding any frozen embryos so we had to call and ask.

Then before my last (second) ivf we asked more about our own donor’s sperm because they are not that good and icsi has had to be used as a method. Then we got an answer that it will be calm because icsi is used.

We have friends where both an older partner and a younger one used icsi because their young donor did not have good sperm. Both partners miscarried plus the guy’s girlfriend. So in that case it was the donor. Would have appreciated if before IVF two you really sit down and think about whether you should try another donor. Then you will know if it is your own eggs that are not working or not.

Absolutely fantastic! Have done IVF at other clinics before and always been terrified of egg retrieval which was unmanageable
pain for me before but at Livio the procedure really didn’t feel like anything so I’m really grateful that here they don’t scrimp and slouch with pain relief like at some other clinics. All the staff and doctors are so nice and professional and thorough, so it’s the first time I feel completely safe at an IVF clinic.
