I can only recommend the Heidelberg Fertility Center.. All the doctors and the entire staff are very nice.. I always felt like I was in very good hands.. No long waiting times… And in the end our wish to have children worked out 🙏🏽❤️..

Here I rate my two ICSI treatments with Dr. Seitz and Dr. Lake house.
First of all: Due to the renovation of the practice, it is now very nicely and modernly furnished. With one exception, the practice team was always very friendly and communicative.
Scheduling appointments via Doctolib is easy.
Ms. Dr. Seitz was also friendly and empathetic, as well as technically competent.
Ms. Dr. Seehaus, on the other hand, was rather cold and reserved in his dealings with me (and my partner). I also found their handling during the ultrasound and the ICSI treatment to be rather rough. I didn’t know until that day that this could be so painful and could result in two days of bleeding.
And yes, pain is individual, but regardless of this situation and the similarly painful ICSI (which was completely painless with Dr. Seitz), I had the feeling that Dr. Unfortunately, Seehaus does not have the minimum level of empathy that I expect of a doctor (especially in this sector). Yes, at the beginning you will receive, among other things, a flyer about the possibility of psychological counseling. Unfortunately, in my opinion, that’s not enough – with Dr. Lake house does.
The egg retrieval was not an experience that I would have wanted to experience twice. This is where assembly line work applies. Three women separated by a curtain are waiting, waking up or being informed about the removal.
Time is money, money is earned more than enough from the unfulfilled desire to have children anyway, so please use as much of it as possible.

In conclusion, it was clear to me that as a patient you are just a number and that you can make good money with this topic. Nevertheless, I wish I hadn’t felt the same way every time I visited.

We stopped the treatment after two ICSIs and are now looking further.

At that time we came to Dr. Thöne. My doctor recommended Heidelberg even though there is also a fertility center in Karlsruhe. I’m so glad we followed the advice! Dr Thöne was very pleasant, positive and empathetic. She explained everything to us, but gave us the feeling from the start that she would find a solution for us. In the end it was quick and easier than ever imagined. I was pregnant on the first try and today we have a healthy son. You have to wait a little longer for the first appointment (unfortunately demand is high). After that you can also get appointments at short notice. Many thanks to Dr. Thöne and the whole team.

We found the practice to be extremely well organized. Once you have been treated, you always get appointments promptly and we never had to wait long in the practice. The entire team was very friendly. We were with Dr. We received treatment at Seehaus and always felt very well looked after. She is professionally competent, always informed us about our options, treatment methods and chances of success and was very objective, realistic and structured. We can highly recommend the practice.

So I would always recommend the Heidelberg Fertility Clinic and I’m glad that I listened to my gut feeling back then and we came here. We were happy to make the journey from Karlsruhe to Heidelberg.. the whole team: reception, laboratory, etc. are super friendly and courteous. We were treated by Dr. Thöne, she is a very nice, friendly and empathetic doctor, she always explained everything to us calmly and always gave us a positive feeling.
