We’ve actually been in the clinic with Dr Wegener for a few months, but she hasn’t been there the last few times, which is why we ended up with Dr Kundu on her behalf.
Unfortunately, this woman is very condescending, she blocked normal questions by saying she wasn’t our doctor and wasn’t familiar with our history, but it was still a purely rhetorical question about the desire to have children. She then said again that she couldn’t answer any questions (even though she is a doctor at a kiwu clinic) and simply gave us a piece of paper with a QR code. We can also watch YouTube without a QR code, she wanted to get rid of us quickly and we felt extremely uncomfortable and unwanted with her! She didn’t even personally explain to us how to take the prescribed tablets; that was explained to us at the registration desk. This doctor is an absolute no go for us!!! Dr Wegener, on the other hand, is very sensitive and friendly but this back and forth is extremely unfortunate, especially when it comes to private questions, needs and emotions…
So far no treatment has worked. It would be desirable if you were given an appointment, mentioning that if the treating doctor is not on site, who you can have a replacement appointment with. We drive almost an hour to this clinic… we were also offered to come a day later to attend the appointment with Ms. Wegener, but we didn’t want to drive for free… so it would be nice to make a precise arrangement in advance!! We cannot recommend Dr Kundu!

We were treated in 2021, mainly by Dr. Wegener, I was pushed around quite a bit and also had appointments with Dr. Breitbach, who was competent and personable, as well as Dr. Kundu, who was impatient, condescending and rude to me. Miss Dr. Wegener gave us the wrong advice, as we unfortunately only found out two years later in another fertility clinic. Dr. Wegener told us something about a 30% chance of success with insemination, but never mentioned that this didn’t apply to us personally. We later learned that our chances were only about 1%, even taking into account the studies at the time. We did six inseminations, which were of course unsuccessful and therefore lost valuable time. Dr. Breitbach even said at times that he couldn’t recommend insemination based on the spermiogram, but then quickly backtracked, probably not wanting to stab his colleague in the back.
Then there was the contact; Dr. Wegener always gave me the feeling that I was something that had to be dealt with quickly. Questions were not welcome and she became very impatient. I can only assume that we wanted to make as much money as possible by initially recommending treatments that were unlikely to be successful and then working our way forward. But maybe it was just a lack of desire, or in the worst case, incompetence. After the six inseminations, we needed a psychological break and then turned to another clinic because of the unfriendly treatment.

Unfriendly and far from “desired practice”.

We have been very satisfied with the care, advice and medical support over the past 6 years.
We can Dr. Highly recommend Wegener. Here you are “more” than just a patient. Our wish has come true. But maybe we’ll see each other again 😉

We feel for Dr. Leßmann was in very good hands and advised. The reception is also easy to reach and always friendly.
