Why choose the Kinderwunsch Centrum München (MVZ)?

  • Compassionate and knowledgeable doctors
Patients frequently commend doctors such as Dr. Gaßner and Dr. Wrede for their empathetic approach and competence in treatment. Many felt supported and cared for during their emotional journeys, often expressing gratitude for the personalized attention to their unique circumstances.
  • Successful pregnancies reported
Despite the operational challenges, several patients have reported successful pregnancies and positive experiences. The clinic's medical staff has demonstrated efficacy in treatments, leading some families to achieve their long-desired parenthood, reinforcing the potential for favorable outcomes.
  • Good technical facilities
The clinic reportedly offers modern medical facilities and equipment for fertility treatments, with some patients highlighting that the procedures they underwent appeared professionally conducted. This aspect gives reassurance to those seeking advanced reproductive assistance.
  • Multilingual staff
Many staff members speak English, easing communication for international patients or those still learning German. This feature can provide comfort and clarity for non-native speakers navigating a complex medical environment.
  • Willingness to adapt treatment strategies
Several patients reported positive changes in their treatment plans after discussions with their doctors. This adaptability is crucial in the fertility field where individual circumstances can greatly vary.

What to watch out for at Kinderwunsch Centrum München (MVZ)?

  • Long wait times and poor scheduling
A significant number of reviews point to unacceptably long wait times both for appointments and within the clinic on the day of treatment. Patients express frustration at being made to wait for hours despite having scheduled appointments, creating an overall experience akin to an emergency room.
  • Unfriendly and disorganized staff
Many customers report feeling unwelcome due to unfriendly reception and administrative staff. The registration process seems chaotic, leading to a disjointed experience that detracts from the overall quality of care provided.
  • Lack of communication and clarity
Patients have raised concerns about the inadequate exchange of information regarding their treatment plans and the associated costs. The clinic reportedly fails to provide comprehensive details about procedures and potential alternatives, resulting in misunderstandings.
  • Perceived focus on profit
Several reviews reflect a sentiment that the clinic prioritizes financial gain over genuine patient care. Critics express concerns that unnecessary treatments are pushed onto patients, leading to significant medical bills without transparency regarding their necessity.
  • Variable quality of medical care
While some doctors received praise, others were described as rushed and less empathetic. This inconsistency in the quality of care can create an uneven experience for patients across the clinic, which diminishes overall trust in the treatment they receive.

Unfortunately, I cannot give this clinic a good rating. Unfortunately, the clinic is too overcrowded and you cannot make telephone appointments or consultations. When it comes to discussing it with the doctor, it is just dealt with quickly without going into the causes further. In the case of Haschimoto’s thyroid diseases or endometriosis, there is a lack of expertise because there is no endocrinologist available. There are waiting times of up to 4 hours for the actual puncture. In this case, I can only praise the medical staff who really try hard but are also exposed to a lot of stress.

“Very Satisfied with Professional Care from Dr. Reising, but Communication Could Improve”

We were treated for PID/ICSI at KWZ Pasing.
Overall, we are very satisfied with the performance of the practice. Above all, we would like to positively emphasize the good and very professional care provided by Dr. Reising. What could be improved is the contact with the practice itself, which has often proven to be time-consuming over the phone. The practice staff on site were friendly and courteous at all times.

Disappointed by Long Waits and Poor Service at Fertility Clinic

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this fertility clinic. Despite making an appointment, I had to wait up to three hours. It’s incomprehensible why you have to take a number to register at reception – it feels like a crowded emergency room. The organization leaves a lot to be desired and the high costs are disproportionate to the service provided. The entire process involved a lot of stress and intense emotional strain. What was particularly annoying was the unfriendly manner of the receptionists and the quick, superficial processing. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this clinic and hope that urgent measures will be taken to improve the organization and service.

Unfortunately I cannot agree with the positive reviews. The medical care would have deserved more stars, but the organization and process are “subterranean”.

Our first appointment was scheduled for 8:30. We were there together, my husband wanted to start work later, I had taken half a day off just to be on the safe side. Despite an appointment, you have to take a number to register and wait until you are actually “allowed” to go to reception. We’ve already waited over an hour to get here. You are then allowed into the area in front of the doctor’s office. Unfortunately, after another hour my husband had to go to work. Another 30 minutes later at 11:00 a.m. I received advice. 2.5 hours after the actual appointment.

We thought about trying 3 more “normal” cycles after the endometriosis operation and doing this with cycle monitoring. Here I was lucky once because I caught the 7:30 appointment and was actually there at 8 – with ONLY a 30 minute wait.

Back to cycle monitoring – Monday 8:40 (an earlier appointment was not possible, it is not possible to get an appointment by phone at all. You will then receive a result by email with a suggested appointment ala “frissoderstirb”)
This time too it took until 11:30 for a quick ultrasound.

It was then spontaneously decided to carry out insemination the following day because the approval from the KKV had just come and two follicles had grown without stimulation. You should arrange the exact time at reception.

At reception: a queue of 5 people and another 30 minute wait.

But not enough. You get an appointment, choose the earliest possible appointment the next day with the treating doctor, so that you can go to work afterwards, arrive on site on time, are called after 20 minutes, only to be told that today, due to the high workload, there is suddenly a complete appointment Another doctor will carry out the insemination that you have never seen before. This is communicated to you in front of the doctor’s office in front of other patients.

When I insisted on receiving insemination from my treating doctor, I was fobbed off with “then you’ll just have to wait a long time.” Again around 40 minutes until 11 a.m., despite the appointment at 10 a.m.

Even in this situation, after trying to conceive a desired child naturally for two years, you are already mentally very tense. I therefore find this approach incredibly insensitive and unacceptable.
The doctor apologized for the change question afterwards and explained that she meant well in order to shorten the waiting time. However, that doesn’t change the poor planning and scheduling.

We are seriously considering whether to start further attempts here if this doesn’t work.

Of course we are in the “supplicant” role. But I find such time management and treatment unacceptable.

In case my review like other negative ones should be deleted. I operate on Google under my maiden name, which is listed in the patient file.

“Very Satisfied with Professional Care from Dr. Krüsmann and His Team!”

Yes, the practice is large and sometimes things go smoothly.
All in all, we were very satisfied here!
We were helped professionally and we never had the feeling that we had been asked to pay unnecessarily.
Thanks to Dr. Krüsmann and his team.
Great doctors and the ladies who took blood samples were always friendly.

“Grateful for Our Miracle Baby, But Disappointed with Practice Management and Extra Costs”

First of all: medically we were quite satisfied and after 4 IVFs we achieved our miracle. And Mr. Dr. Krüsmann (junior) was always very nice and competent. Hence 3 stars (otherwise there would only be one).

The practice organization is top notch. I had to submit some documents several times because they could no longer be found there, others I supposedly needed very urgently and absolutely and when I submitted them I was told: you didn’t need that.
The waiting times in the practice are a disaster! One of the ladies at reception doesn’t know what the other is saying and vice versa. Double HIV test because no one told my husband that the first one was too early (and in the new clinic we were now told that HIV only needs to be done every 2 years, not every time and max one week before the puncture).
Looking back, we wonder whether they just wanted to take money out of our pockets as private patients. Looking back, the expensive intralipid infusions (€130 just for making an access and squatting on a stool for 3 hours) seem like an extremely rip-off to us. Especially since the new clinic advises against it.

Finally, they wanted to charge us 10.5 times the rate just because we came to the practice in the city center (but no one had told us that beforehand). And my husband had to pay (as a self-payer) because he went into the room with me. I am a private patient no matter which room I am examined in. And in Pasing itself, my husband never had to pay extra.
It’s a shame that we still have such a bad feeling in retrospect. All in all, we have our great child and we thank Dr. Krüsmann is also grateful, but otherwise we are very disappointed and happy to change (because of a move).

“Struggling with Unsympathetic Care: A Harrowing Experience with Tubal Imaging and IUI Before Finding Compassionate Treatment in Munich North”

Examination by Mrs. Reising for tubal imaging was so rough (twice I was unnecessarily rammed into me with a swab and clamp without being asked and without warning “so that no contrast medium would run out at the end of the examination” – the floor was more important than pain for me and I would have preferred a bandage to catch the contrast medium) that I still have flashbacks and fear today. IUI by Mrs. Hertwig not better. We have never experienced anything so disinterested and unsympathetic. Without consideration of new findings, therapy is continued instead of considering a change of course. Then to the appointment an hour waited until the already finished processed sample of my husband was brought in, while she took further controls on other women (have me with the women talked, therefore I have the info). On my question, why then our box (the only one in the in the room and which was carried over the corridor, while I sat before the door), which the MTA with me on data had controlled an hour with her stand (which I saw while the door opened again and again), came from her the answer that this is not our box with sample! Sure…

We are now in Munich North and here you are treated like a human being. First ICSI in Garching resulted in a pregnancy.

Unfortunately I had a very bad experience with this fertility center. Poor appointment scheduling, unstructured process at the first appointment, no competent information about treatment methods, lack of information about other options and only the most expensive treatment methods are used. In the case of endometriosis, there is also a lack of competence. If you don’t feel like you’re in good hands here, you’ll find a very competent and friendly practice in the north of Munich.

Attention for young cancer patients!
Since I was diagnosed with cancer in my late 20s and had to undergo two operations, radiation therapy and chemotherapy, the hospital recommended that I have my sperm frozen if I wanted to have children. So I wanted to find out more about cryopreservation, the procedure and the costs. “Everything” was explained to me in the conversation.
*It should be self-explanatory that this is not the desired life path for someone in their late 20s.*
I was particularly worried about the high costs, here the employee assured me “don’t worry, this has been a health insurance benefit for young cancer patients since 2019, this has already been decided in the Bundestag”
Now I decided to do the treatment, a few days later I realized that the advice was absolutely bad and incomplete (no mention of abstinence). Of course you could think so, but not in this situation! A few weeks later the next shock! A bill for 900€, when I called I was answered with “don’t worry, just pay and collect your bill, you will soon be able to submit it to the health insurance company, but you always have to pay in advance.”
Now the whole thing went on for a while, I got an invoice for the storage fee every 6 months, but I always thought to myself “well, I’ll get the money back, so it’s okay.”
Then the hammer!
A few months and almost €3,000 later, it says: “Unfortunately, we cannot settle with health insurance companies because we have founded a GmbH for storage and health insurance companies cannot settle with GmbHs.”
At the same time, however, health insurance companies can only bill this type of therapy directly to the fertility centers and not to the patient!

Now, if I had known all of this in advance, I would have left it alone and hoped for a happy ending or would have gone to another job.
I never received a refund or apology!
And everyone who is or has been in this emergency situation knows how important good support and finances are in these times.

+++Update+++
Now the company is trying to have my review deleted and is accusing me of lying and is now claiming through a lawyer that they “never had a business relationship with me.” Well, I have a contract here, I think that should be proof enough.
Instead of owning up to your mistakes, you are once again confronted with the illness and this shitty time and accused of lying. Craziness! You should be ashamed!

“Paid €12,000 for Poor Care and No Support: My Frustrating Experience.”

Paid €12,000 for overstimulation despite a 2-day check-up, unable to lie down, sit or stand due to pain, emergency phone goes to voicemail, according to Dr. Gaßner was the boss on the sailing trip, if you give the clinic number you are turned away (“no free places”). Last but not least, the practice hires a law firm to have bad reviews deleted here. There would have been no business relationship. Then why were we charged €12,000?

Every woman and every man is welcome to write to me personally about my personal experiences. Over coffee and cake I would like to tell you what my story and experience was. A story that I tried to forget for a long time until the Kinderwunsch Fabrik made a complaint about my rating and so my pain could flare up again.

Since I was also threatened with a lawyer because of the review, I will now publicly prove that I was there and that is my real name (Kindergarten) but what social work does a woman not do to protect other women. ☀️ With pleasure 😉 dear lawyer…. very gladly

Update: I was happy to send Google my evidence, a look at the file would have saved you from my rating from 2017 suddenly popping up again in 2024. I’m just saying it’s bad advice. 🤷🏻‍♀️

We spent 1 year in this clinic undergoing torturous and unsuccessful treatment.
We were also assigned one of the good doctors upon request.
We are private patients, my wife is young and in good health with great values!
During the first stimulation we experienced total disappointment due to incorrect medication and negligent diagnostics!
After a lot of motivation, we tricked ourselves into carrying out the second stimulation.
Again, a total slap in the face!!!
Nothing came of it, mind you my wife is very healthy and young.
Results that are unreasonable…
Bottom line:
2 stimulations with a single fertilized egg cell (transfer).
A whole year of torment, suffering, pain, sadness and wasted opportunities!!!
It is processed as if on tape, the doctors observe what is happening, but do not carry out the necessary diagnosis. Internal communication goes through several hands (even if the reception and operating room ladies are friendly) important information gets lost here and you have to follow up or follow up several times! After 2 failed attempts, they didn’t even try to have a conversation, they just left it standing in the room… to mention again: young, in good health and great values!
We are more than disappointed, we are basically left to chance.
You are given the feeling that you are a test rabbit and that such results are completely normal, or that you don’t take the individual steps necessary to get to the result!!
What remains are sadness, disappointment, tied hands and damaged psyche!!!
