We arrived at IVI very discouraged after 3 attempts in Germany.
From the beginning we noticed the difference, the people were very friendly, with a smile on their faces and always ready to help you and make you comfortable, on the phone as in person. We, living in Germany, faced the entire process from afar and it has not been easy, but the IVI team helped us a lot and made it more bearable.
For that and much more, a thank you to all the staff for helping us achieve what until recently we thought was impossible!
Now I want to dedicate a few words to a special person, who I will never forget and I am excited to even write it. Dr. Ana Barrio. She was the only one who seriously assessed my symptoms and used everything she could to get me pregnant. I felt heard and safe. He told me from the beginning that I was going to get pregnant and I did, although I didn’t believe it at all. And now that I am in week 18 and I still can’t believe it, for every question or doubt she is there listening and with words that always make me calm and confident. I always tell my husband that I would go live in Madrid just to have her close by in case I need her in this process that is so beautiful and, at the same time, hard for me. She does not abandon you, even if her spectacular work with us is over. Anyway, a huge thank you to my heart doctor, as I call her!
Now I also have a huge thank you for another special person that life has given me the good fortune to meet, the psychologist Cristina Lopez. If I have gotten this far it has been ahead of everyone thanks to her who has always supported and advised me in a professional manner and with a sensitivity of 100. She has believed in me even when I didn’t believe it either, encouraging me every day and being by my side in difficult times. She is surely another angel who has made a difference. Everyone should have a Cristina in their life. Really.
I also thank Dr. Garcia Rubio, who also took part in the process with great heart and professionalism, a doctor who also does a 100% job dedicating herself to her patients with all her soul. I will always remember her as the sweetest and most elegant doctor I ever met in my life.
Anyway, thanks IVI.
Francesca and Aurelio

Given some PGD results using 17 eggs frozen 8 years ago for fertilization, abnormally bad according to statistics, and since I have no history of infertility (I went only due to age, I have offspring after that freezing, due to spontaneous gestation, and with hardly any search) , I ask the laboratory for a report indicating chromosome and percentage of affected cells. They tell me that they cannot give me the percentage data (although in their informed consent it says that the doctor can ask the laboratory for it). When I express my interest in transferring the embryos to another clinic, they destroy them. They say they are very sure of their results, but they prevent us from opting for a second opinion. When the laboratory manager found out about my discontent, he called me to resolve my scientific doubts. Under the circumstances I don’t need his knowledge, I need his humanity. Furthermore, he assures me that I am going to get pregnant with the only embryo they have left alive, something of which he obviously has no certainty. The excuse is that the embryologist misunderstood me. Well, the normal thing if the embryologist misunderstood, is that they assume responsibilities.

Lack of professionalism and empathy. Sensation of entering a mass production machine, which follows its protocols without dwelling on the particularities of each case. If you fit into their protocol, fine, if not, it will affect your results/well-being (even if it is something as simple as asking to take the embryos to another clinic for a second evaluation). Get paid, they charge the same and in advance, so it doesn’t matter.

It’s hard for them to answer the phone. When they don’t answer, the trick is to call from a phone number that they don’t have registered and check the “I’m not a customer yet” option. The fact that they have one line for customers, and another for those who have not yet paid, and the latter works better, already shows the company’s priorities.

Exception is Dr. Mayoral… She seemed in a hurry when she told us that the embryos had been destroyed, when in the previous consultation we had once again contemplated their transfer. The laboratory did not inform her either, it is clear that she is on her own. Furthermore, the only one who showed her face, even though she was not responsible for what happened. The embryologist and the laboratory director hide behind the phone/email

As you can read in the response, they regret the results and my impression. But do not destroy embryos without the knowledge/consent of the parents…

From the first consultation, Dr Martínez Salazar and his team made us feel comfortable, confident and with a very close and empathetic human treatment, and we had that feeling throughout the entire process. Of course, it was a great success to have them for the treatment, and above all, happy to be able to say that it was a success.

My total gratitude goes to Dr. Eduardo Goyri and his team, both from Alcorcón and Aravaca. His professionalism, his effort, his interest, his involvement, his care… have been EXCEPTIONAL and I hope to be able to take him to meet my little ones, since without him it would not have been possible. He picked me up after many years of struggle and disappointments, and it seems he has worked a miracle. 12 week path.
I don’t give them the fifth star because of their administration department. Unfortunately, for them the only important thing is money and not that you get pregnant. For claiming my money due to their mistake (and clearly in revenge), they removed me from their waiting list, creating a huge delay in my process.

I have no words to thank Dr. Goyri. We came to IVI after having had 2 IVFs at another clinic where we did not like the treatment. In the other clinic we got pregnant but our lives stopped after 6 weeks. When we arrived at IVI, Goyri had a hard time getting us excited about a new treatment, but his clarity, his sincerity, and how he made us feel made everything much easier. Unfortunately, the treatment with my eggs did not work, and once again the sincerity of our doctor appeared… thanks to him today we write this with the discharge report in hand and with a healthy pregnancy of 7+2.
The egg donation process has become less difficult thanks to all the information and security we have received.
We lack life to be able to thank you! I hope that in some time I can make an appointment with him to expand the family.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!

“Feeling Welcomed and Well-Cared For at the Clinic!”

I have felt very welcomed at all times by the clinic, Dr. Mayoral is excellent, and the entire team, I speak of her because she was the one who accompanied us in the process, but I am sure that they are all excellent. I have no complaints.
