CRGH City

Update:
Why are you ignoring my messages CRGH? I have asked you to action something vis your IG account several times yet you choose to ignore once the balance has been paid? Are you in a habit to quickly forget and dismiss past valued clients?!

Unfortunately I have to give this clinic 1 star- they do not deserve it. It’s taken me 8/9 months to write this review after I dealt with this horrendous clinic.

1- Negligence: got to the stage where they were going to show me how to inject myself but I had no contract in place. So they quickly rushed to sort out the contract and I had to return to redo the appointment. I should never been at that stage without a contact.

2- Finance team: like the other reviews they are very rude and abrupt. No etiquette on how to deal with clients. They say they will change and take feedback onboard but they don’t.

3- Hidden costs- I paid almost £20k for one cycle!!! They couldnt even explain when I asked what I am paying for. I was trapped and was forced to pay otherwise they refuse to do the treatment. When you look at their price list it is misleading- you can not go by that. They end up doing extra scans/ tests/ procedures. Your medicine is also extremely expensive.

4- Miscarriage- unfortunately I miscarried at 6 weeks. They told me with a smile like it was normal. Throughout the process I was told the pregnancy is unlikely to be successful- they were so negative. Told me I should consider surrogacy instead or a donor egg.

5- Staff- Even staff nurse spoke to me off the record. She agreed that the clinic is sometimes all over the place and unorganised. She said they only listen to certain complaints!! While I was there I witnessed patients getting annoyed and arguing with staff.

6- Not a private clinic! Please stay away

7- Abroad: I didn’t listen to CRGH and ended up going to Greece! The clinic was amazing… it felt like a private clinic with A class service.
They were so reassuring and I am pleased to say I am 7mths pregnant with my own eggs.
Paid a fraction of the price.

Please don’t go near this clinic. They really treated me badly to the point where I broke down before my egg transfer- they had stressed me out so much with the process. They wanted to give me councilling! They totally disregarded my feelings and caused the mental breakdown.

I never write reviews and this is my first. I feel so strongly about how I was treated that I wanted to write at least 50% of what CRGH put me through. Please stay away.

Overall I had a really positive experience at CGRH city. We conceived our first child under the care of Gennet city fertility which previously managed the clinic prior to CGRH taking over and initially there was a slight confusion over my course of treatment, but after the transition was complete the care I received under CGRH has been exceptional.

We feel very blessed and fortunate to have had a little girl following a frozen IVF cycle at the clinic. The nurses, consultants and management team are highly experienced, very patient focussed, warm and managed our expectations very well throughout the process. I would like to pay particular compliments to the embryologists who provided valuable insight into our embryos.

Fertility treatment is not easy to go through, and takes its toll physically and emotionally
so it helps when you are supported by a high standard of patient care like that we received at CGRH City.

Today was my final egg collection. I have had 3 cycles with CRGH. It has been the greatest investment I have ever made in myself.Of course we can’t go back in time, and wishing I had done this 10 years ago isn’t helpful. And I guess like many people barking on egg freezing, this isn’t the route we hoped for, or expected from our life for so many reasons. However, without a doubt Dr Ali Al Chami and Dr Javier Cordero treated me with the upmost kindness, respect and empathy. They made a difficult decision feel empowering – a decision based on free choice and protecting my chances of motherhood, rather than a decision filled with sadness and regret. The end of my third cycle is bittersweet. I feel both sad and glad it’s over. Egg freezing with CRGH has given me the mental headspace to surrender and allow life to fall into place, whilst also alleviating the worry that had crept in over the past few years. On the other hand, my visits and time with staff was always heartwarming, and so it is a chapter of my life in some regards I am sad to end. Truly, from the bottom of my heart I couldn’t have chosen a better place to embark on my fertility journey. Nor could I have wished, hoped or prayed for two better doctors to support me on this journey. This review isn’t just based on recommendation, this goes without saying, it comes from a place of deep, unwavering gratitude for Dr Ali Al Chami and Dr Javier Cordero. Although I pray I “find my person”, conceive naturally and “live happily ever after”, I equally have faith that I will be in safe hands if my journey leads me back to CRGH for IVF in the future. I wish everyone every success on their own personal journeys with CRGH.

Thanks to CRGH City, we are the besotted parents of our little boy – now two months old. Dr Javier Cordero provided exceptional clinical expertise, empathy, sensitivity and positivity – all of which are essential on the extremely emotionally challenging process of IVF. Some nurses and doctors were not, which is poor given the nature of the service the clinic provides. We were with the clinic during their change in ownership and experienced several bumps in the transition and at times the administrative management of our treatment by the nursing team could have been better, with several incidences of inattention to detail which caused unnecessarily stressful situations at critical moments in our treatment and required a lot of management from me to triple check and chase things. This feedback was given to the head of nursing, Jo Whitty, who then looked after us personally and things improved. Overall, we would highly recommend the clinic and would use them again.

I cannot thank the team at CRGH City enough for their patient led, thorough, no nonsense and well considered expert medical advice that was always delivered with kindness, care and compassion. From the receptionist up to the senior consultant I felt supported throughout my treatments and that they had the latest research and options at their fingertips. You certainly pay for their expert medical advice but the warmth and supportive attitudes of each staff member and regular checkins really helped. I had several rounds of IUI (one cancelled) and then IVF, the steps, strategy and likelihood were clearly explained at the outset which was empowering. The team were always available to answer any questions usually same day. All the clinic staff were professional but particular thanks to Dr Ali Al-Chami, Dr Javier Cordero, Jen the embryologist, nurses Magda and Jo and Rose the administrator who were all involved in each of my cycles and were so kind and helpful. I’m very pleased to say that I’m currently 14 weeks pregnant thanks to IVF at CRGH and am actually missing regular contact with the people at CRGH now I’ve been officially discharged and don’t need multiple scans a week! I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend CRGH to anyone seeking fertility assistance. It’s not cheap but the clinical experience deserves 5 stars.

This is the worst hospital in have seen in my life they break your trust last year and left us in middle of the treatment then we give then one chance again to trust them then we have fail IVF then receive a cull next day to discuss, the plan and we have ask as it is hard time for us can same one cull us in two weeks as it is been 3 months they don’t care then they never cull us for the next IVF and we have one froze embryo with them they don’t care about people life they only care about to make money that’s all I will make a complaint to the NHS aswal about them that CRGH city playing with people life
This is our experience with them so any one go there for treatment think twice

If I could rate 100 stars, I would. CRGH City is an absolutely superb clinic, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have found such a wonderful team. From the doctors and nurses to the embryologists and reception personnel, everyone has gone above and beyond to ensure that we are well taken care of.

Our journey with CRGH City has been nothing short of exceptional. Dr. Jara Ben Nagi is an absolute gem. Her expertise and dedication to patient care are truly commendable. She takes extreme care and time to explain medical issues, and we have always felt supported and informed under her care. I cannot count the number of times she has called after her working hours or during her lunch to address a question or review results. When she has been absent, Dr. Javier has done a wonderful job of stepping in and looking after us.

The nursing team, including Jo, Romina, Magda, and Ellie, have been absolutely superb. They have been caring and attentive beyond what duty calls for, making us feel supported and valued throughout our journey. The embryologists, Rabi and Carleene, have also been instrumental in guiding us through the process, providing support and detailed explanations whenever needed.

Our journey with CRGH City is not yet over, but we are confident that the team has done everything scientifically and humanly possible to support us. We are extremely grateful for their expertise, care, and support, and we cannot recommend CRGH City highly enough.

We had a wonderful experience thanks to Dr Al-Chami and his team. He was thoughtful, professional and very supportive from the very first video consultation – and in the end we conceived naturally! What I can say about the CRGH that all the staff at CRGH are very professional, helpful a wonderful team from nurses , doctors and receptionists, always helpful, wonderful
And I Thank all for the help, support and extraordinary service , always answering questions when been asked
