Very mixed bag with ABC IVF in my opinion, obviously partly this is a ‘you get what you pay for’ situation and with ABC being the no frills approach to IVF you won’t get the same experience as you would with a more bells and whistles expensive clinic. If you have the time and ability to research and project manage your experience though you should be fine and by this I mean be incredibly proactive, chase your patient liaison, look into outcomes from medication they advise, understand every step of the process etc.

Where they really let themselves down is the customer service, our patient coordinator Elizabeth Ramsey almost never answers her emails and doesn’t seem to have her finger on the pulse at all, incredibly fortunately we have fallen pregnant waiting for our frozen transfer and we have been trying to understand our position with our remaining balance paid and our embryos in storage for around 6-7 weeks now with no success. We receive little to no response from Elizabeth and what we do receive makes no sense, no one contacted us in the timeframe whilst we were waiting for the next cycle to begin treatment so do not expect them to be proactive with your care, again if you feel you have the capacity to take this on yourself you should be fine. I would liken the experience to buying a house, your solicitors will sit on documents you need to sign and actions you need to be taking until you repeatedly chase them, and there is always an additional cost hiding around the corner even if you think you’ve got a sure deal, all in all I found it a very similar experience!

In summary the nurses and consultants are all lovely and great at their jobs, you feel well looked after in their care, just don’t expect to sit back and have everything managed for you, you will need to be proactive. In addition if Elizabeth Ramsey is your patient coordinator maybe ask for someone else, although we didn’t come across another so I can’t speak to other coordinator’s efficiency/approach.

3 years ago we started our ivf trestment with abc, and i can say that the whole team where Outstanding in every way. Our nurse kate build A very professional Relationship with us. This makes the diffrence to What can be a difficult time. From one failed attempt to a successful pregnancy in which we have our Miracle baby We were very grateful to the team and So please we had,had our treatment at ABC.

In 2023 we Decided to try for our baby number 2. And we are very Disappointed of the difference of experience we are currenly experincing. We feel we are being passed pillar to post the lack of communication between patient coordinator and nurses. Constantly having to contact patient coordinator When waiting for a response. The experience this time definitely feels more about money then The personal care. The lack of communication and advise/support.

The wilmslow clinic was absolutely incredible.

Calm environment. We felt listened to. Not rushed. And the professionals we so brilliant. Skilled. Compassionate. And very flexible and wanted to do everything to create a successful outcome

To God be the glory I welcomed my beautiful daughter in April 28 2024 after many years of waiting, thank You so much ABC Manchester…my joy is full and my happiness knows no bounds…
All your staff are so wonderful, friendly and heaven sent…..

We had most of our treatment here, the staff have been amazing throughout our journey and we will forever be grateful for them. We are currently 12 weeks pregnant after our first round of IVF. Our treatment was always made very personal, including my partner in everything and even the reception ladies knowing our names. Special thanks to Linda in Liverpool who is just amazing and Gyonyul in Wilsmlow. We couldn’t have wished for a better experience and so glad we went with ABC.

Supported us all the way through, until a great end! In what can be a very difficult process.

We have just welcomed a gorgeous baby boy after a round of reciprocal IVF – we were lucky enough to get pregnant after one round and on our first embryo transfer.

Everyone at ABC was brilliant, the nurses that took us through the injections and scans (there were a lot!) were so lovely, really put us at ease and made the process really enjoyable.

It’s an affordable option and we’d recommend to anyone looking to start or extend their family. We will be back when we are ready to grow our family in the future. Thank you everyone at ABC!

My experience with abc is a rollercoaster I’ve had 5 rounds of IVF here and finally I have my miracle baby boy . I did 4 rounds the way the consultant wanted me to do the rounds ie meds and only one embryo transferred. The last round was my decision and I had many more meds and 2 embryos transferred and my boy is here . Staff are lovely. I did think they was money making at one point but then they agreed with what I asked for and I’m so glad I did and went with my heart. So i would use them again just because I no now what I need to get a positive outcome also I have frozen embryos in storage there with them . If I didn’t I would have been tempted to use someone else. So mixed reviews from myself. But I would like to thank abc because without them I wouldn’t have my special boy .

My partner and I decided on this Clinic after doing some research first. We are based in Scotland, so it wasn’t the closest location, however my past experiences with a different, more local clinic made me want to look elsewhere. IVF is a complicated and emotional journey, full of ups and downs and I wanted to find a team, which would make us feel supported throughout this process without the feeling it’s all about the money. I am delighted to say we found exactly that and more at abc Ivf clinic in Manchester. From the reception team and co-ordinator through to all nurses, consultants and all medical team I felt like I was in a really good hands. All our questions were always answers, nothing felt like a hassle or nuisance, even the support they offered with travel costs, made for a very positive expirience. We have been extremely lucky that the treatment resulted in birth of our amazing daughter, first time round, however I can honestly say that if we had to try again I would’ve opted to do it with abc ivf Clinic in Manchester one more time. The kindness of staff and their humanity I have witnessed towards all the clients was outstanding and to me not only matched my expectations, but exceeded them.
