Eternal gratitude to Aagaard Klinikken – Our Miracle is Here!

After five long, hard and difficult years, we have finally reached the goal and can now embrace our little daughter, who came into the world in November 2024. Our journey has been marked by challenges, and after four years of struggle with “help” from the public we had to look for other ways last year.

We had no problems conceiving, but repeatedly experienced spontaneous abortions, up to week 17. The public could only determine that there were chromosomal defects in two of the four fetuses we lost. After that we just got a wish for good luck with the next pregnancy.

But we couldn’t keep getting pregnant and losing time and time again. We needed a solution – specifically egg sorting – to avoid repeated chromosomal errors.

Here Aagaard Klinikken became our rescue. Our only regret is that we did not contact you earlier. It might have saved us a lot of pain and grief.

We are eternally grateful for your all-important help and support in this five-year journey to have a child.

The PGT-A test was just right for us, as was the Evita Complete blood test, which replaced the invasive placental biopsy offered through the public.

From start to finish, you have been empathetic, understanding and extremely professional. For the first time in a long time, we felt taken seriously, heard and prioritized.

Our long battle is now behind us and we look forward with our lovely little girl in our arms – thanks to you! The word THANKS cannot contain our feelings at all.

Although I have been a patient in the past, they now only accept you as a patient if you pay yourself or have insurance DKK 2300 to have the spiral removed and cell scraping done.

The staff are very professional, some are a bit cold – so if you expect a warming welcome and simple question as ‘how was your flight, how are you today’ – choose a clinic elsewhere in Europe as you will not get this warm welcome from Aagaard. But you are not there to make friends I guess.
The staff including doctors are professional, but you might feel that you are just a number whose main purpose is to pay the invoice. The aftercare is non-existent and the clinic’s feedback on this is that each client can contact them if they feel they need an advice/debrief or advice what the next steps might be. I believe that every clinic should look after their clients even post treatment and suggest the next steps, maybe they can employ a team of dedicated coordinators to do that. They make enough money from all their add-ons! It is a good clinic, but there is definitely better clinics out there! When it comes to fertility, each woman should be treated as an individual not as a number!

Transfer was carried out despite ovulation and this was done twice in a row. Our concerns were dismissed very aggressively by the doctor. Looking back, a lot of valuable time and money wasted.

We have the ICSI treatment with DR Kim. I would say that he is very expert and professional. He can give you all treatment information to make sure that you are right to come here. All staffs are very kindly and professional too they will help you and take care as much as they can until you feel relax here. 5 stars for me

Bad clinic
I would have put no stars, but the generator asks to click a star. I have been in the Aagaard clinic despite the negative reviews, I should have paid attention to the negative review. It’s a scam clinic as soon as you pay the full amount it won’t refund you anymore.
In June I had IVF in the Aagaard clinic and the secretary gave me an estimate for 22,000 DKK which I signed and paid. Then the day of the IVF doctor Aboubakar gives the estimate of 25000 DKK that I have to pay, I tell them that I have already paid 22000 DKK and she tells me that the doctor has given the divis and that I have to add 3000 DKK and she makes me understand that this concerns the genetic test to be done, doctor Aboubakar comes himself to tell me to pay the 3000 DKK which I do. But I get a simple email telling me IVF didn’t work. Not even a call from the clinic after announcing the news by email.
Since the IVF did not work, I ask to be reimbursed for the genetic test which was not done as my IVF did not work and the Aagaard clinic refuses to reimburse me.
The clinic wants to make a good impression, but as soon as there’s bad news, they don’t really call a money factory.
Everything the clinic will say is wrong their goal is to make a good impression, don’t believe them and I understand why hardly anyone comes to your clinic.
I will end by saying to be very careful when choosing a clinic and to take the time to look at the negative opinions which I did not do and I regret it. Be careful because he does not reimburse you between what the secretary and the doctor say there is really no cohesion.
And if you clinic Aagaard you respond to this notice, you are only scammers and nothing you say will change anything.

Aagaard clinic is a professional and safe place where you are greeted with understanding and kindness.

Not patient. I am sure they are skilled, however, we were not contacted as agreed, and had to call and remind ourselves of the agreement. From there it was a matter of chemistry, when choosing a clinic it is important that you feel comfortable and that just wasn’t there here. We made it clear that we had been in treatment for 3 years in the public sector, and now had to choose a clinic in the private sector – despite that, everything was explained from the ground up… The flower and the bee. We interrupted several times and reminded them that we had been in treatment for a long time and knew all the basics, but it just continued. And also referred to women as ‘girls’ which is really just mysterious when you are talking about reproduction. We did not feel welcomed where we were, and therefore chose another clinic.

Probably the most impersonal treatment you can get. Breached his duty of confidentiality. Both Aagaard and wife (employee) are extremely condescending and run the clinic like a factory.
